Lauren E. Kucera

I am a young, motivated, hardworking graduate of Eleven Fifty Academy's 12 week .NET program. Before Eleven Fifty, I was working at a small rural hospital's Emergency Department as an Emergency Medical Technician. Growing up, I always imagined myself working in the medical field and also had a love for sports and competition from a young age. This led me down the path of receiving a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Indiana State University, and eventually into patient care and emergency medicine. Although I enjoyed the fast-paced environment of the hospital and medical profession, I found myself wanting something more intellectually stimulating and challenging. I was introduced to the world of coding through a family member and after some research decided it was the right path for me to pursue.

While serving in the Army National Guard for the last six years I have been given the unique opportunity to lead, follow, and develop Soldiers from all backgrounds and walks of life. This experience has allowed me to develop strong foundations in teamwork, leadership, and communication skills as well as a never quit attitude and dedication to all that I pursue.

I am excited to launch this new career and professional adventure. Thank you for visiting my website and taking the time to view my work.
